Karen Tinkler’s tenure at Partners PR began in 1999 when she joined as an account executive. Her drive and talent quickly propelled her through the ranks, first to account manager and then to account director. By 2006, she played a pivotal role in a management buyout, partnering with Monica Green to take ownership of the agency.
Since its inception in 1988, Partners PR has evolved into a seven-strong team under Karen’s leadership. The firm specializes in business-to-business PR, serving clients in industries such as manufacturing, food processing, building, construction, and professional services across the UK and beyond. Through strategic growth and adaptation, the agency has withstood significant economic pressures, including a global recession and the pandemic.
Reflecting on her time at Partners PR, Karen states, ‘There’s a certain pressure that comes with buying an already successful business, and we’ve seen some interesting times over the last two and a half decades.’ Her journey has been marked by learning and collaboration, having met and worked with numerous remarkable individuals in the sector.
