In a strategic move to cater to more customers this festive season, Aldi has set a purchase limit on its popular Crémant De Loire sparkling wine. The renowned supermarket chain will restrict purchases to two bottles per person as it reduces the price drastically. From December 27 to December 31, the price will drop from £8.99 to an impressive £4.99, encouraging more customers to savor this exquisite wine.
Julie Ashfield, managing director of Aldi UK, emphasized that the intention behind this move is to allow more customers to celebrate without straining their budgets. “By lowering the price and introducing a two-bottle limit, we’re enabling more people to experience this exceptional sparkling wine at an unbeatable cost,” she elaborated.
In addition to the wine discounts, Aldi is also extending price reductions to other holiday essentials. Consumers can purchase Christmas dinner staples such as carrots, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, white potatoes, cabbages, and broccoli at a remarkable price of just 8p per kg. This pricing strategy highlights Aldi’s commitment to offering affordable holiday solutions to its customers.
