The womenswear brand Ghost is introducing three entirely new clothing categories for its upcoming autumn/winter 2024 collection. This expansion will feature denim, knitwear, and outerwear, marking a significant diversification from its current range.
Scheduled to be available online through Ghost’s direct-to-consumer platform, customers can expect the initial release of items by late July and early August. The pricing for these new categories is set to appeal to a broad audience, with denim priced between £89 and £149 and knitwear ranging from £69 to £129.
Sameera Azeem, Ghost’s creative director, shared insights into the collection, highlighting pieces like navy blue flared jeans and lightweight-knitted wool-blend camisole tops, accompanied by matching cardigans. Azeem described the collection’s style as “feminine, with a touch of modern bohemian,” which is consistent with Ghost’s enduring aesthetic.
The addition of these new types of apparel aims to create a more cohesive and versatile collection. Azeem emphasized that the integration of denim, knitwear, and outerwear into Ghost’s lineup will provide timeless styling while offering easy-to-wear pieces. This strategic inclusion is intended to complement Ghost’s iconic dresses and satin range, ensuring that the new items blend seamlessly for an effortless everyday look.
Further elaborating on outerwear, Azeem noted that the category introduces “additional possibilities for layering in the colder season.” The outerwear line will launch after the initial release of denim and knitwear, with prices beginning at £185 for jackets and reaching up to £225 for a long-line maxi coat. These pieces have been “tailored for an elevated, elegant silhouette,” underscoring the brand’s commitment to timeless fashion.
