Building upon this success, the two companies have unveiled the Greggs Champagne Bar at Fenwick. This initiative exemplifies a forward-thinking approach to dining, blending the iconic flavors of Greggs’ bakes and rolls with a carefully curated selection of premium champagnes. The bar is slated to operate from October 24 through December 25, accessible exclusively through reservations within the glamorous setting of Fenwick’s Food Hall.
Mark Reid, Fenwick’s executive head chef, has curated a menu that pairs Greggs’ staple items with exquisite sauces and high-end champagnes. Noteworthy menu items include steak bakes with peppercorn aioli, sausage, bean, and cheese melts with Bloody Mary ketchup, and sausage rolls enhanced with hot honey chili sauce. Complementing these dishes, guests can choose from a selection of champagnes including Bollinger Rosé, Laurent Perrier, and Louis Roederer Cristal, with prices ranging up to £425 per bottle.
