The transformative impact of Aviva Studios is evident not only in cultural terms but also economically. Councillor Craig emphasizes its role in offering jobs, training, and diverse opportunities, cementing its status as a game-changing asset. As part of its opening productions, Danny Boyle’s ‘Matrix-inspired Free Your Mind’ attracted considerable attention, while upcoming events promise to keep momentum with innovative offerings like Radiohead’s reinterpretation of Hamlet.
With nearly two-thirds of its audience hailing from Greater Manchester and 81% from outside the region visiting specifically for the Studio, Aviva Studios has played a crucial role in putting Manchester on the map.
