Reserved, a Polish fashion retailer, is fortifying its presence in London with the opening of a new store in Westfield London. This addition marks its fifth location in the city, reinforcing its commitment to the UK market amid evolving retail landscapes.
The newly launched store occupies a significant 20,000 sq ft area within the White City shopping center, strategically positioned between prominent brands. It features Reserved’s comprehensive range of women’s, men’s, and children’s wear, spread across two levels, accentuating its broad apparel offerings.
Simultaneously, Reserved is revamping its e-commerce strategy to widen product availability for UK consumers. By late June, the company intends to ship products directly from its main warehouse situated in Poland. This strategic shift aims to present UK consumers with an expanded selection of products previously limited by local inventory constraints.
Przemysław Lutkiewicz, the vice-president of the management board at LPP, which owns Reserved, addressed the logistics hurdles experienced post-Brexit. He explained, “As a result of Brexit, many companies were faced with the need to cut costs and thus make changes to, among other things, logistics and online order fulfilment based on the range available in local shops.” This statement underscores the necessity of adapting operations to foster growth and meet customer expectations in the British market.
Reserved operates over 2,000 stores across 27 European countries, indicating its considerable footprint in the fashion industry. With five UK physical store locations, including multiple sites along Oxford Street and additional stores in Brent Cross and Westfield shopping centres, Reserved continues to enhance its presence and accessibility for British consumers.
Reserved’s new London store and e-commerce strategy embody its adaptive approach to logistical challenges and commitment to enhanced consumer accessibility in the UK.
