In a strategic move, Frasers Group-owned Flannels has partnered with luxury reseller Sellier, transitioning temporary pop-ups into permanent concessions located in Flannels’ stores in Belfast, Liverpool, and Glasgow. This collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing regional access to high-end fashion items.
The venture’s success is evident, as Sellier’s initial pop-up stores in Glasgow and Liverpool generated impressive sales nearing £500,000 within just six weeks. This revenue illustrates a robust demand for luxury products, encouraging the decision to make these pop-ups permanent installations.
As part of its expansion, Sellier is introducing a permanent concession in Flannels’ Belfast store, officially opening tomorrow, 19 June. This new retail space will provide a curated selection of pre-loved handbags and accessories from iconic brands such as Chanel, Hermès, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, catering to the diverse preferences of luxury consumers.
Hanushka Toni, Sellier’s co-founder and CEO, expressed excitement about the enduring partnership, stating: “We are incredibly excited to partner with Flannels for the second time, following our hugely successful pop-ups last year. This once again highlights the hunger for access to the luxury goods market within regional locations, shown by the move to make our Glasgow and Liverpool pop-ups permanent.”
The collaboration is seen as part of a broader trend, with Flannels playing a pivotal role in ensuring that customers across the UK can access luxury brands without long-distance travel. Toni highlighted this initiative as a shift towards making luxury more accessible to a wider audience, a core element of Sellier’s strategic expansion in the luxury resale market.
This partnership between Flannels and Sellier exemplifies the growing accessibility and demand for luxury resale in regional markets.
