The hybrid trade show, Pure London x JATC, which took place between 14th and 16th July, successfully brought together numerous brands and buyers at the Olympia London venue. This event, marking its second edition, continues to attract a diverse range of participants, cementing its position as a significant event in the fashion calendar. Accompanying this trade show was the Scoop premium womenswear show hosted at the adjacent Olympia West, highlighting the prominent appeal for all stakeholders involved.
More than 160 brands showcased their products this season. Notable newcomers included the UK-based fitness brand CSix, the Barcelona streetwear label Becca & Cole, and the UK outdoor menswear brand Ppfff. These brands, among others, capitalized on the event’s impressive footfall to engage with potential buyers, benefitting from the event’s networking opportunities.
The organizers, Hyve Group, chose not to disclose specific visitor numbers but confirmed participation from high-profile buyers including retail giants like Asos and several well-known independent retailers. Attendees conveyed that the event provided a conducive environment for engaging with existing brand partners while discovering promising new labels.
Noteworthy was the feedback from exhibitors who noted the contrasting visitor attendance between Sunday and Monday. The dynamic environment fostered meaningful interactions between brands and buyers, signaling a successful congregational event for professional stakeholders.
Participants from various regions, including first-time exhibitors like Vipin Bansal from India, emphasized the rich discussions and prospects at the show. His hemp clothing brand, Stryte, received positive responses, exemplifying the show’s potential to connect global markets.
Industry professionals appreciated the comprehensive offerings, from catwalk displays to panel discussions, which effectively provided enriching experiences beyond mere exhibition. The integration of Pure London and JATC seeks to transform this platform into not just a marketplace but also a hub for exchanging ideas and insights, strengthening its future editions.
The next edition of Pure London x JATC is scheduled for 9-11 February 2025, and anticipations are high for further brand curation and enhanced buyer experiences.
