Bestway Retail has recently announced strategic enhancements to its senior leadership team by appointing three experienced individuals into critical roles. These appointments are part of Bestway’s objectives to accelerate its growth trajectory and strengthen its market position.
Nick Russell has rejoined Bestway Retail in the pivotal position of head of symbol. Russell, who boasts a significant history with Costcutter, a key brand under Bestway’s umbrella, steps back into the company with a wealth of experience gained from his recent role at Morrisons Daily, where he focused on independent franchise and new business. His return is anticipated to bring innovative strategies and leadership to the independent Best-one and Costcutter estates.
In addition, Steve Moore has rejoined Bestway from his previous tenure at Parfett’s, where he effectively led retail sales and support teams. In his new capacity as regional controller, Moore will spearhead operations in the Midlands and South Wales regions for Costcutter and Best-one, starting January 2025. His comprehensive expertise and familiarity with the brand will likely enhance the company’s operational capabilities in these strategic areas.
Rodney Tucker also marks his return to Bestway as part of the new business and acquisitions team. Tasked with driving the recruitment of new ventures in the Southwest and South Wales, Tucker brings valuable insight from his recent role as sales director at Spar Appleby Westward. Having previously held regional management roles within Costcutter and Best-One, Tucker’s experience is poised to foster new business initiatives and strengthen Bestway’s foothold in these territories.
Jamie Davison, Bestway’s retail director, expressed enthusiasm for these appointments, emphasizing the value and sector knowledge that Nick, Rodney, and Steve bring to the company. Their collective expertise is expected to play a significant role in supporting Bestway’s growth plans and enhancing the services provided to its esteemed retailers.
These strategic appointments are set to drive Bestway Retail towards achieving its growth objectives.
