Leeds-based creative agency Syn celebrates its fifth anniversary by partnering with Yorkshire’s indie coffee brand If Up North to create a special coffee blend. This collaboration underscores Syn’s commitment to fostering Northern creativity and establishing strong regional partnerships.
The coffee blend, named “The Good Sh!t,” is a testament to the synergy between Syn and If Up North. Available solely at the Leeds roastery, this blend symbolizes a celebration of both Syn’s milestone and the collaborative spirit of the North.
Chris Newell, co-founder of Syn, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting the agency’s desire to support and amplify the creative industry in the North. Syn plans to not only work with more indie Northern brands but also contribute to local charitable organizations and creative initiatives. “As a creative business, we’re only where we are thanks to the amazing talent that make what we do possible. ‘The Good Sh!t’ lets us raise a cup of the hot stuff as a cheers in celebration to the awesome people of Syn, and give a big high-five to the creative industry of the north, who are collectively helping to put agencies outside of London on the global map,” Newell stated.
Echoing this sentiment, Stephen Tyldsley, owner of If Up North, noted the shared passion for celebrating Syn’s milestone. He explained that, “When Chris came to visit us, his passion really came through, you could tell he wanted to create something special to celebrate Syn’s milestone. A lot of people don’t appreciate the detail of different blends when making coffee, so when Chris said Syn wanted to design their own blend, I couldn’t say no. We also have a shared passion and appreciation for the North, the collab made sense to me.”
This collaboration between Syn and If Up North highlights the strength and creativity of Northern partnerships.
