Ocean Outdoor has announced significant shifts in its senior leadership team, aimed at steering the company towards its next phase of growth. The changes are set to take place from January 1, 2025, and are spearheaded by the recently appointed group CEO, Stephen Joseph.
Phil Hall, currently serving as the UK CEO, will take on the newly created role of group chief commercial officer. This dual role is designed to strengthen commercial strategies across the company, as reiterated by Joseph.
Billy Byam-Cook, previously the group head of finance, is set to become the group chief financial officer. Byam-Cook will collaborate closely with Hall to manage commercial contracts and bolster cross-border agency relationships. Nick Shaw, who has been the chief revenue officer, is now promoted to UK chief commercial officer, enhancing his responsibilities within the UK market.
In addition to these changes, Richard Malton, who has been pivotal as the chief marketing officer, is now transitioning to the role of group chief marketing and strategy officer. This change aims to align marketing efforts with the strategic direction of the company.
