South Manchester’s SOUND&COLOUR, a video production agency, has undergone a strategic rebrand with the help of design studio The Modern World. This move aims to align the agency’s brand with its vision, ethos, and future growth aspirations.
Renowned for creating compelling content for clients such as EA Sports, BBC Sport, Adidas, and others, SOUND&COLOUR saw the need to revisit its foundational values. This introspective approach facilitated the creation of a new purpose statement, ‘Powerful Content, Perfectly Captured,’ which succinctly encapsulates the company’s commitment to storytelling through video.
The agency’s co-founders, Chris Elliott and Rick Bailey, expressed their satisfaction with the collaborative effort. They stressed the need for a partner who could not only grasp their vision but also be consistent with their ethos. The Modern World, according to the founders, perfectly fit this requirement, effectively becoming an extension of the SOUND&COLOUR team. The rebrand signifies more than just a visual update; it represents strategic positioning aligned with the agency’s identity and future direction.
Matt Lewis, Creative Director at The Modern World, spoke about the collaborative process, noting that the SOUND&COLOUR team was transparent about their identity, values, and objectives. This openness allowed The Modern World to help elevate the agency’s brand identity to reflect the exceptional quality of their productions. The new branding has already been implemented across SOUND&COLOUR’s digital platforms, including their social media and website.
SOUND&COLOUR’s rebrand marks a significant step in aligning its brand identity with its production standards and vision for future growth.
