Selfridges has transformed its Oxford Street location into a festive spectacle, adding excitement to the Christmas countdown. With 36,000 baubles and 5 km of garland, the display promises a visual feast for shoppers and passersby.
The festive windows are illuminated by 15,000 LED lights, bathing the street in a vibrant glow. The chosen theme, ‘More the Merrier!’, aims to inject joy and celebration into the holiday season. This theme is not only a visual treat but also an invitation for the public to partake in the festivities.
Adding to the festive charm, Selfridges has incorporated giant disco balls and live performers. These features are part of the store’s initiative to create a lively and interactive experience, encouraging the community to engage with the decorations.
The windows, which have been in development for eight months, showcase meticulous artistry and creativity.
