Britvic, a leading beverage company, has once again solidified its partnership with Wincanton, a major supply chain specialist, by renewing their contract for another ten years. This extension brings their collaborative relationship to an impressive 40 years. Under this agreement, Wincanton will continue to provide Britvic with essential storage and distribution services.
Wincanton’s responsibilities include managing Britvic’s national distribution center in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, and operating its fully automated warehouse in Rugby, Warwickshire. Together, these facilities are responsible for dispatching approximately 650,000 cases of Britvic products every day, featuring popular brands such as Robinsons, J2O, and Tango.
In line with the renewed contract, Wincanton plans to make significant investments in automation at the Lutterworth site. This strategic move aims to boost productivity, increase capacity, and enhance supply chain capabilities over the next decade.
