John Lewis, in collaboration with Waitrose, has been acknowledged by His Majesty King Charles III for its consistent contribution and commitment to high environmental standards. By being granted the Royal Warrant of Appointment, John Lewis stands among the distinguished companies recognized for providing stellar service to the Royal Household for over five years.
Peter Ruis, the Executive Director at John Lewis, expressed immense pride upon receiving this recognition from the King. “For 160 years, we’ve been focused on offering excellent customer service and the highest quality products, and the Royal Warrant is testament to the hard work of partners across John Lewis and our suppliers,” he stated.
In addition to John Lewis, other notable recipients include Kellogg’s, Weetabix, Bacardi-Martini, Tiptree jam maker Wilkin & Sons, and Ryvita provider John Ross. These companies are among 386 businesses that previously held warrants under Queen Elizabeth II, marking a transition and continuity of trusted suppliers to the monarchy.
Earlier in May, Fortnum & Mason alongside Waitrose were bestowed with Royal Warrants by His Majesty, symbolizing a momentous occasion as Fortnum & Mason received its first new Warrant in 28 years. This highlights the evolving relationship and trust built over time with the Royal Family.
These Royal Warrants not only signify quality and reliability but also underscore the commitment these businesses have in supporting both the Royal Household and broader community initiatives.
The Royal Warrants awarded by King Charles III continue to honor longstanding excellence and commitment from trusted suppliers.
