Morrisons has announced a significant update to its loyalty scheme, aiming to give customers added value through the More Card program. Now, shoppers earn five points for every product purchased, whether it’s in-store, online, or through Amazon. This change allows customers to accumulate points on a broader range of products, enhancing their ability to save as they shop.
In addition to earning points on all purchases, customers can receive up to 50 More Card points on selected items. A focal point of this offer in December is the supermarket’s premium line, ‘The Best,’ where consumers can benefit greatly from increased point accumulation. This initiative highlights Morrisons’ commitment to rewarding its loyal customer base.
Previously, points were restricted to certain products, limiting customers’ ability to quickly redeem rewards. Now, this barrier is lifted, offering more flexibility and incentives for regular shoppers. Customers can still redeem points for vouchers, with every 5000 points equaling a £5 voucher, popularly referred to as a ‘Morrisons Fiver.’
The supermarket has also extended its partnership with ecommerce giant Amazon, further integrating its loyalty scheme into more diverse shopping platforms. This move is intended to make the More Card points system even more accessible, enhancing the shopping experience for customers who prefer digital purchasing channels.
