The prospective site in Northamptonshire spans an impressive one million square feet, reflecting the scale of M&S’s ambitions.
Currently, M&S’s online shopping platform serves approximately 9.4 million customers. The company has set an objective to increase online sales to account for half of its total revenue in the fashion and homeware sectors. Despite this, in-store purchases remain predominant, underscoring the transitional nature of this strategic shift.
M&S has invested in enhancing its e-commerce platform, focusing on elevating the digital shopping experience.
