In a significant pricing strategy, One Stop has announced a price lock on more than 85 everyday products. This move, aimed at helping consumers save during the summer holidays, includes a broad range of items such as fresh foods, alcohol, picnic snacks, as well as dinner and breakfast ingredients. This includes its own-label products like strawberry jam, unsalted butter, and tikka masala cooking sauce, among others.
Moreover, the initiative features popular branded items such as Lucozade, Green Giant sweetcorn, Arla semi-skimmed milk, Dairylea Dunkers, and Warburtons breakfast muffins. Marianne Aitken, the head of product at One Stop, stated, “We want to help customers’ money go further, and we don’t want them to have to hunt for great value – they can find everything they need at their local One Stop at fantastic locked-in prices.” This approach is part of One Stop’s ongoing commitment to offer low everyday prices.
In addition, One Stop is reinforcing its environmental credentials by implementing closed-loop recycling for its own-label milk bottles. Partnering with the global resource management company Veolia, the retailer aims to recycle over 380,000 milk bottles per year. This initiative underscores the retailer’s dedication to sustainability and efficient resource utilization, setting a precedent for environmentally conscious business practices.
This price lock initiative by One Stop not only aids consumer savings but also promotes sustainable practices.
